Live testing · v0.1.10 — Baryon is in early public preview. Expect bugs, missing UI states, and rough edges — for example adding an instance currently asks to install Gluon even if you already have it. We're shipping fixes constantly. Send feedback from inside the app or to lapizh@icloud.com.
Public preview

Try Baryon Gluon on your own Linux server. For free.

We're looking for operators — sysadmins, indie hosters, small security teams — to run the public preview and tell us where it hurts. In return you get the desktop app, an installer that drops a real eBPF/XDP firewall on your VM, and direct access to Tom (that's me) when something breaks.

What you'll get

  • The signed Windows desktop app (NSIS or portable, ~75 MB)
  • The Python agent's install.sh for any Linux host
  • A seeded workspace with example rules and a working Postgres backend
  • The full source — MIT-licensed core, nothing hidden
  • A direct line to me for any feedback, bug, or roadmap input

What we'd love back

  • Real-world install logs (especially on distros we haven't tested)
  • "This UX is broken" reports — be brutal, please
  • What you'd pay for once we leave preview
